If you are a teenager and suffer from acne problems in a rather severe way, you know how this may lower your self-confidence. The same applies if you have a wart, mole or skin tag in parts of your body that are visible. Here I am talking about those ‘horrible warts’, moles or skin tags you may have or think that you have on your face.

Unfortunately today’s society is quite a materialistic one and it nurtures in us an exaggerated importance on our appearance. A lot of programs and advertisements on television, internet, magazines and other written, audio and visual media make us believe that we have to be good looking to succeed in life. Good values are more and more being shown the back door.

This is however partly true. Industries are trying (and they are succeeding) to build exaggerated needs in all of us, so they can sell us their products. Intelligence, the ability to build mutual beneficial relationship with people, being able to attain the required skills for a successful career is much more important. All these will build your confidence.

However it is also true that your self-confidence will help you to build all these and much more. This is because your self-confidence is also related to your looks. Therefore it is important to take care of how you look. So if you keep looking at the mirror and your eyes always fall on your wart, mole or skin tag, remember that most probably you are exaggerating and your wart, mole or skin tag is not so horrible as you might think.

However if you want to get rid of it, here is but one of many ways you can do so, Click Here!
But remember that although removing your wart, mole or skin tag will increase your self confidence, do not fall into the mistake of believing that being good looking by itself will solve all your problems. Instead consider it is a plus point on your favor and as another way to build your confidence.

Dear June,
But the truth is, the one constant in Africa is the sun. And I just read about another important benefit we get from sunshine.I’ve been telling you stories and showing you photos from my trips through the rainforests in Africa. So it wouldn’t surprise me if you have the impression that I haven’t spent a minute out in the sun.

I’ve showed you how vitamin D is more than a vitamin – that it also works as a hormone. Now we know that it’s even more than a hormone. It’s a gene regulator.

A new study shows that vitamin D binds directly to your DNA.1

And what does vitamin D do for you when it’s bound to your DNA? The newest Journal of Immunology shows that it activates a gene that stops inflammation.

How does this relate to sunshine? Exposure to the sun is the main source for your body’s vitamin D.

In my opinion, this study puts one more nail in the coffin of modern advice to avoid the sun at all costs. Making the recommendation to cover up and stay out of the sunshine about the worst advice you could ever take.

That also makes vitamin D possibly the most important nutrient we know of.

Because of the ten leading causes of death in the U.S., chronic inflammation contributes to at least seven of them. These include heart disease, cancer, chronic lower respiratory disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, and nephritis.2

The trick is, you need to have enough vitamin D to activate the process. And this is where modern advice is failing you.

Current national guidelines suggest that you should have a minimum blood serum level of 20 ng/ml. But that means getting only 600 IU a day.

Except look what happens when your blood levels are that low. In various studies:

People with low vitamin D have significantly more cases of colon cancer.3

More than half of people with osteoporosis-related fractured had low vitamin D.4

63% of people with Crohn’s disease still had low vitamin D even though 40% of them were taking a supplement!5

An incredible 96% of people who had heart attacks were vitamin D deficient.6

Sunshine is the main source of most of your vitamin D. From there your body makes the two kinds of vitamin D you use.

The problem is, almost everyone is deficient in vitamin D. I’m not exaggerating. One study looked at 1,600 people and found 89% of them had low vitamin D7. I could go on and on. In fact, if you search for “low vitamin D” studies in the PubMed database, you’ll see almost 9000 studies!

My patients do their best to get in the sun and take supplements. But when they come to my clinic, their levels of vitamin D are still too low.

So the next time you go in for a physical, ask your doctor to check your level of vitamin D. It’s a simple, inexpensive test that provides valuable information.

I recommend you aim for a minimum of 2,000 IU of vitamin D a day. If you get your level tested and it’s low, take between 5,000 and 10,000 IU a day from a variety of sources until you’re levels are back up.

The best source is the sun. And you don’t have to be in Africa near the equator like I am to get enough sunshine to recharge your vitamin D. Try and go outside and expose your body to sunlight every day. As little as 10 minutes in the midday sun produces 10,000 units of vitamin D. You feel instantly better.

Eating fish a few times a week will give you a lot of vitamin D, too. You might want to stick with the smaller, cold-water fish like sardines to avoid the mercury in some of the larger fish.

But I understand that some people don’t like fish. Others find fish too expensive, especially if the fish is seasonal. In that case, try supplementing with some cod liver oil. It’s not the same cod liver oil your mom may have threatened you with when you were a kid. Today’s version has a clean, fresh lemony taste, and just a tablespoon full gives you more than 1,300 IU.

To Your Good Health,

            June

Do you suddenly get up in the middle of the night hearing strange noises? Yes it can definitely be frightening, more so when you cannot find the source. Now consider for a moment that these sounds are coming from within you. Most people would be stunned to know that. Many of us do not even know that our internal organs can make sounds.

Let us try to see whether you actually heard these noises or not, and if you did, where did they come from. Now before anything, let us get this straight – yes, you actually heard those noises. No, they are not a result of a creative mind that imagined things in slumber. But having said that, it is also true that there is indeed no source of the sounds you heard. So what is it? Confused?
This is a classic case of tinnitus.

What is tinnitus?

What you experienced last night (or did you just get up from sleep and switch on the computer) is a classic case of tinnitus. This is a medical condition wherein a person hears all kinds of strange clicking, ringing, buzzing, whistling or hissing sounds within the ear. What’s so worrisome about this condition for a lot of people is that, there’s actually no physical source of these sounds. What makes it even worse is that, no one else seems to hear them. Frankly, these people cannot be really blamed. Naturally, if you cannot see where the sound is coming from, and if you keep hearing it, you are bound to get worried.

In tinnitus, the sounds a person hears are actually perceptions. Since there’s no actual source, they are often referred to as “phantom noises”. Will it help you if you knew that about 8% of all people in the US suffer from tinnitus? Perhaps not, but at least now you know that you are not alone who hears these strange noises.

What Causes These Noises?

Of course you will want to know why you are hearing these noises. But even before you find this out, you should know that tinnitus is actually not a disease. It is actually a symptom of a problem that is rooted deep, somewhere within your body.

The problem could be a simple one like an infection in the ear, or even simpler, such as ear wax. Just clear the wax and get the infection treated, and the noises could go away. In some people, it could even be the result of a side-effect of a drug they took. Or it could be more complicated.

Some people will have tinnitus because their Cochlea is damaged. And in a few, it could be caused due to hearing loss. But of course, the most common cause of tinnitus is exposure to loud noises. The noise can be a sudden burst, or it could be a constant banging that hits the ear drum and travels inside. If they are abusing their ears by making it a point to stay close to such a racket, they will definitely have to pay a price. What’s this price – it is tinnitus.

Of course, the noises of tinnitus are not heard only during the night. You could hear them during the day too. But it definitely seems to become worse in the night. In a few people, the noises come and go as they please. And there are others who hear them all the time.

Treating Tinnitus

It is almost impossible to live with tinnitus but you don’t have to. If you are hearing the noises, whether all the time or intermittently, you must seek treatment immediately. But sadly, conventional treatments only treat the symptoms of tinnitus and may provide temporary relief at best. Sure enough, the sounds are going to come back.

The only way you could ever get rid of your tinnitus for good is by following the holistic approach to healing. By using a multidimensional treatment for tinnitus, we are tackling all tinnitus causative factors and eliminating these triggering elements from the root. This is the only path for permanent freedom from tinnitus.

It’s well known that aloe vera has medicinal properties, but few people know that aloe ferox is much more powerful, and can really kick health and skin care products up a notch.

The Aloe Plant

There are over 400 different species of aloe. The succulent plant usually has fleshy leaves and tubular flowers. Some species have stems, while others have flowers that grow near ground level. Most Americans are familiar with the aloe vera plant, which is used in health, food, and beauty products, and is also popular as an ornamental garden plant.

African aloe, which is sometimes known as aloe ferox or Cape aloe, is a different species, and one that is native toAfrica. Cape aloe grows wild inSouth Africa, and in contrast to American aloe vera, is grown and harvested without the use of pesticides, fertilizers, or other chemicals.

Both aloe ferox products and aloe vera products typically make use of the inner fleshy part of the leaf to produce a sap or a gel, but aloe ferox also produces aloin, or aloe bitter crystals, which aren’t readily available from the aloe vera plant. Aloe ferox also has over 35 percent more amino acids than the aloe vera.

Uses for Aloe Ferox Products

Because the aloe ferox plant has a greater concentration of biologically active compounds, its healing properties are much more powerful than those of the aloe vera plant. Aloe ferox products and their uses include:

Aloe bitter crystals – The main ingredient in aloe bitter crystals is aloin, which is a strong laxative that aids detoxification and helps improve digestion.

Aloe bitter powder – One of the most popular African remedies, aloe bitter powder can be used to relieve hay fever and sinus problems. You can also rub it into the coats of animals to combat external parasites.

Aloe drinks – The juice of the aloe ferox is rich with soluble dietary fiber, while the aloe gel contained in aloe drinks helps sooth mucus membranes and can relieve symptoms of heartburn and stomach discomfort. Aloe drinks are also terrific energy boosters, as they contain high levels of metabolic minerals. Tea formulations can also enhance health and healing.

Aloe gel – An extract of the aloe ferox leaf, aloe gel can help boost your skin’s natural moisture levels – but its benefits don’t stop there. Aloe gel also helps to reduce inflammation and increase cell growth, and has an antibacterial effect. Aloe gel is also an effective anti-aging product, since it increases soluble collagen compounds and increases cell regeneration. So, whether you need to treat a sunburn, an insect bite, eczema, or any of a variety of skin ailments, it’s always good to have a supply of aloe gel handy.

Supplements – There are special formulations of aloe ferox supplements that can help with a wide variety of health issues. Whether you need something to help with joint flexibility and pain, detoxification, weight loss, or hormonal changes, a supplement can help you achieve your goals for health and well-being.

Skin Care – Aloe ferox can be a powerful tool in your skin care regimen. From cleansing foams and make-up removers to skin toners and sunscreens, aloe can help ensure that your skin will stay supple and healthy.

Aloe ferox is much more powerful than its American cousin, and is being embraced throughout the world as an important weapon in the arsenal of good health.

Aloe Ferox is best known for its wide range of medicinal properties from healing
stomach ulcers to sunburn and skin problems of one kind or another.

Recent research has shown that ALOE FEROX can be used to preserve the freshness of
fruit and vegetables!! In order to test the preservation efficacy of Aloe Ferox,
an editible Aloe Gel coating was prepared. Grapes were then dipped into the
Gel while another group of grapes were left untreated for comparison purposes.
Both groups of grapes were then stored for a period of 5 weeks.

The study showed that the untreated grapes deteriorated within a week, while the
Aloe Gel grapes remained well preserved up to 5 weeks. They were firmer with
less weight loss, had less colour change and tasted better.

The Aloe Gel had acted as a natural barrier preventing oxidation and the loss
of moisture. While its antibiotic and antifungal properties inhibited the
growth of micro-organisms responsible for food going bad.

A marvelous alternative to the chemical process widely used today!

Now think about it, if Aloe can do that for fruits and veg, it explains why it
works so well for you and I. So lets have a look at just one product.

ANTI-STRETCH LOTION
OK, you’ve had your fun in the sun and your share of sun damage to your skin.
Now is the time to restore the damage!
It is well known that the sun accelerates the wrinkling process. This is
because the sun destroys collagen. Inferior collagen formation can result
in stretch marks and scars. To reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks
and wrinkles the body must be stimulated to produce more collagen. That is
exactly what Anti-Stretch Lotion has been formulated to do! Let me
repeat Anti-Stretch Lotion helps the body to produce more collagen!
Besides decreasing wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and other visible signs of
ageing, it also thickens the skin 1.5 times faster than Retinol. Another thing
you need to know is that Anti Stretch Lotion does not contain a moisturiser so
always follow up with a moisturiser.
